Converting K750i to W800i (Walkman)series phone.

TUTORIAL1: Converting K750i to W800i (Walkman)series phone.



Benefits:
Walkman Player,Greater sound output(Still not like after reinstalling the acoustics completely),Flight mode.
Drawbacks:
You loose the activity menu, but instead get the shortcuts by tapping the joystick up (^).
IMPORTANT: Check your Cid no. (36/49)……for this just connect the phone to phone-xs (after installing the drivers as given below)

1. Switch off the phone. Remove the SIM and the MEMORY STICK.
2. Download & unrar PHONE-XS 2.01 Beta provided in my folder.
3. Install drivers for the Data Cable /If you haven't done so yet/. If you choose the latest SE ones you will need USBFlashDrivers See below for instructions about them.
4. Download CID49 MAIN file. The only avaiable at this moment is W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA_RED49.Its uploaded in my folder. Others download the cid 36 file which can be found on se-nse.net
5. Start PhoneXS
6. Click File=>Start
7. A Dialog will appear. Enter these settings.(Cid 36 users plz select cid 36 instead of 49, also u have to give the cid 36 firmware during flashing!)



8. Go to "Flash"
9. Now enter these settings. In the select firmware box select the source of W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_EMEA_RED49 you downloaded .And don’t forget to check on the Flash Main Firmware box!!!!!!!!



10. Press flash
11. Now this should appear on the field to the left.
12. Follow the instructions. Hold C and plug the cable in to the phone.
13. If there aren't problems with the flash driver the phone should remain switched off and this should appear.



14. If everything OK this should appear. Now unplug the phone, put your SIM and switch it on. You have W800i in K750i case.



Now. If your phone turns on after you hold C and plug in the data cable.
Download USB Flash Drivers provided in my folder. Open the arhive. Start PhoneXS, enter settings, start Device Manager /WinKey+Pause-Break or Control Panel=>System=>Hardware=>Device Manager/. Press Flash button. Hold C, Plug in the cable. Unrecognised device should appear in Device Manager. Right Click on it with the mouse and select Update Driver. Point to the directory where you extracted USBFlash Driver. Now close and open again PhoneXS. Switch off the phone.

Also if there are some problems with communication between the phone and the PC remove the battery and insert it again.

This have worked for me and at least 5 other people. Nobody has killed their phones. As long as you don't touch Filesystem or Finalization there is no risk to brick your phone.

If after the process the phone doesn't switch on remove the battery and put it back in. Now it WILL work.
